Hi, I've looked and searched for an answer to what I have going here to no avail. I'm not even sure how to search for the specific problem I'm experiencing.

Total newbie with retropie but not linux or the pi. Here's where I'm at.
Emulation station is working and I've downloaded the 5 BIOS ROM's and a couple game ROM's to start with.
I've placed then in the appropriate folders on a USB stick and and the Atari 5200 shows up with the games I've loaded.
This is where things come off the tracks..... I'm following the ETAPRIME video on youtube but nothing works like it does on the video. When I chose a game I'm expecting to see a screen where I configure the BIOS ROM locations but instead I get "Atari Computer Memo Pad". If I hit F1 I get to the "Atari 800 Emulator, Version 3.1.0" screen. When I attempt to use the UP or DN arrow keys on my keyboard I can only move to the top item or last item when I hit the right or left arrow keys. I have no ability to navigate, although the arrow keys work correctly in that "Memo Pad".

What am I doing wrong? Is the ETAPRIME video obsolete? I would much prefer to edit the config files using nano through ssh.
Is there a step by step guide to to do that?

      Thanks

@sportster you can do it manually just push Y button and homescreen button on the game .
