Needed help with getting the sdltrs TRS-80 Retropie Emulator Menu art work to show up with Carbon theme. For example I see on the resources (https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/TRS-80) that the artwork is trs80.png, trs80_art.jpg and trs80_art_blur.jpg needs to be placed in the folder /etc/emulationstation/themes/carbon/trs-80/art. I also see that you must place an updated theme.xml in /etc/emulationstation/themes/carbon/trs-80. My updated theme.xml can be found here http://paste.ubuntu.com/22867913/. The github suggested theme.xml can be found here http://paste.ubuntu.com/22868093/.

When I run Retrop 4.0_rc1 on Raspberry 2B (WinSCP and Windows 7) the TRS-80 selection from the main screen is white and none of the below three images come up (trs80.png, trs80_art.jpg and trs80_art_blur.jpg). Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

@gamer85 that guide is somewhat irrelevant as most has been automated already. And the theme info referenced is specific to the simple theme. I thought I had updated the carbon theme with the trs-80 but now that I think of it I may not have, might have been waiting on an svg of the logo. I'll see if I can get that sorted.

@InsecureSpike I saw that you had created a good logo for the trs-80 but its a png: https://github.com/InsecureSpike/es-theme-clean-simple-canela/blob/v3.0-update/coco/art/clean_trs80.svg.png

I presume that you generated your logos from svgs, do you have the original svgs somewhere?

@herb_fargus Thank you. What steps do I need to follow to update the theme? Just update my scripts? Really appreciate the TRS-80 emulator support in Retropie.

I followed the below steps and still no artwork for TRS-80
                    A. ES Themes>2)Upadate Carbon>1)Update Carbon
                    B. Retropie Setup>U) Update Retropie Setup Script>R) Perform Reboot.

Please advise if I am missing a step. I have tried the above 3 times. Thank you in advance for any tips on what I am missing.

I had the same problem. It turns out that the folder in "/etc/emulationstation/themes/cobalt/trs80" should be hyphenated, so rename it or copy it as "/etc/emulationstation/themes/cobalt/trs-80" - now it works.
