Hi all, my first post on here and not a retropie expert by any means.
Im building an arcade but having problems configuring the buttons .
      Raspberry pi 3b+
      Zero delay usb encoder
      Zippy joysticks
      Standard buttons with micro switches.
On the config screen in emulation station i can config the joystick no probs but when pressing pressing each button nothing happens or says not defined and goes to the next . Im stumped . Searched loads but cant find the same problem

        Bit of an update.
I did the jstest in config file and found all the buttons are already ON when pressed they went OFF.
That explains why i cant set the buttons in emulation station as they are already ON.
Can anyone help me with this how do i change them ???

@arcad21 have your micro switches got an NC, NO connection and a com? Cold be wired so the buttons are normally closed.
