      Good day everyone! I am currently running Retropie 4.7.20 and using the latest version of retroarch. I like the all in one interface so I want to switch out my redream emulator for Flycast. Problem is well out of the box flycast runs like crap (well some stuff runs good). Keep in mine I have not made any changes or adjustments to the settings in flycast are out of box. Before I make any changes are there any you recommend? I am not looking for anything fancy; I just don't want my audio and video to stutter. I have had some changes done to my pi everything else runs great;

      -pi is overclocked and I have great cooling. Even playing hours of Dreamcast my temperature never surpass 39 degrees.
      -I have a retropie 4 4G model.
      -I have the bios files (correct) and they are placed in the correct folder.

      Believe it or not the RPGS work perfectly fine, as do the sonic adventure games! Its when I get into racing games the audio stutters like a mad man. Le mans 24 hours isn't even playable. It plays with no audio when you start a race and runs in slow motion. Daytona USA, Its playable but the audio drives me nuts. Any Ideas? I really don't want to switch back to redream. I did read that some update did mess up some namco and arcade games? Would this be in coloration to that? Also; one of my all time favorites is Sanfrancisco Rush. When loading this into the core it has a big white bar at the bottom. Comparing this to the original hardware and Redream, the white bar seems to be absent.

      Edit Looks like I fixed the graphical glitches in Shenmue 2 (Half of note book wasn't visible) and San Francisco rush. I did this by changing the Alpha Sorting to Per-strip. Doing this though introduced glitchy holes through some characters so I reverted back. Still no fix on the audio for racing games though.

        Youll have to use redream then. It's much better optimized for low end hardware. Flycast is a fine emulator but it's not the best option for a raspberry pi. The default settings for flycast are generally the best. There isn't a setting that just makes all the games run fullspeed (if there was it would be the default setting).

            @refazeshot1 The only thing I use Flycast for is Sinden gun games. Like mentioned above, Redream works very well as the preferred DC emulator.

              Changing the core option Alpha Sorting to Per-Strip (fast, least accurate) improves performance on some games.

                Hi,
                What internal resolution for flycast are you running? I'm using 800x600 and output at 1080p, core resolution (no integer scaling) have no issues running dreamcast games at all, apart from WINCE (windows CE) games as I'm using the recently reverted flycast core, these are not currently supported. Check you are using alsathread for audio and turn of shaders, as most shaders are too demanding (I do use 2x presale bilinear/zfast on all games without issue). Oh and check you are using recent BIOS files as well.

                Here's parts of my config:
