Just post your request there, we are glad to have a FBNEO-Dev-Member on board who is able to check and activate the highscore-support for dedicated games ;)

Support is already included for all segac games, including this one, maybe the entry in hiscore.dat is wrong ? It wouldn't be a first.
Is it working in MAME ?

Edit : yes, i'm probably right, see its entry

        column2j:
        columns:
        columns2:
        columnsj:
        @:maincpu,program,fffc1f,90,55,00

It looks to me like columns2 is considered a clone of columns sharing the same hiscore address in hiscore.dat, however they are totally different games so it doesn't feel right to me.

@barbudreadmon whoa thank you for digging into that. Is there anything I should do on my end? Or is this something that had to be fixed in the hiscore.dat by me?

@mrmadcatz as i said, someone should check if it works in MAME, if it doesn't either then the entry is definitely faulty

@barbudreadmon I just tested using both lr-mame2003 and lr-mame2003-plus using the respective versions of columns2.zip. Both seem to be experiencing the same issue of the Hi-Score not saving. I'll get a high score on the board, wait to confirm it's saved, exit emulation, re-enter and wait for the scoreboard to show only to see it reset back to the default scores.

@mrmadcatz Well, to be honest, testing on current MAME would have been more foolproof, because i can't guarantee there is no other issue affecting a 20-years old version of MAME. But i suppose there is definitely something fishy about this hiscore address.

FWIW, if you are interested in contributing, there is a tutorial on finding hiscore address at https://highscore.mameworld.info/, you can then submit it by email to the maintainer.

@barbudreadmon ah, I see. I have been using those two cores for games I can’t get to run with lr-fbneo because I’m on a Pi 3B+.

@sirhenrythe5th I posted in that thread but have not heard back. Is there any other info I should be posting or could be missing?

@mrmadcatz I think you got your info here - from @barbudreadmon. The configuration for this game in the hiscore.dat file is wrong - that's why saving the hiscore doesn't work.

Same situation is present in MAME, so it looks like saving it won't work until someone adds a proper hiscore.dat entry for the game. The hiscore.dat file instructs the emulator how to save the high scores for the game, if there's no entry for the game or if the entry is not correct, no emulator will be able to save high scores.
