240p 15 KHz with VGA to RGB SCART Cable
-
Hello guys, I'm trying to make work an VGA to RGB SCART Cable with Retropie, but I'm not having any luck with it.
I referenced this old thread to do the cable and config.txt: Retropie 240p 15 KHz RGB SCART TV Guide
I have no signal at all. The TV is a Sony Trinitron that works at 100Hz.
Also, I did not solder the 12v pin to the SCART connector, as the thread says that is not needed.
Does something might have changed in Retropie so it stopped working? Maybe I need a Sync combiner to make it work?
Thank you very much!!!

I think what you are trying to do is very complicated and you have to have quite some knowledge to get this working.
So many people can't help you with that.Have you looked into an easier solution ?
You can use the "CVBS/Composite Video" output of the Raspberry pi if your TV supports it.
The the quality of the CVBS/Composite video signal is quite acceptable on an old TV.
