Crashing from screensaver, how to debug?

I like using the screensaver with box art and I find that after a while the system crashes. Is there a way or reason to figure out why this is happening?

What does 'crash' mean ? EmulationStation freezes (without accepting any input) or it crashes with an error do the command line ?
