      Hi,

I bought the 8bitdo TurboGrafx 16 controller (wireless with a USB dongle) and it is working fine. However, it seems RetroArch always connect to this controller as player 1, even if the actual controller is OFF (the dongle is always plugged in my rpi).

I also have a 8bitdo Arcade controller with a USB dongle and I do not have issue with this one. Basically, if the controller is OFF, even if the dongle is plugged in, RetroArch do not see the controller and I can use other controller (bluetooth) as player 1.

Do you have any idea on how to fix this? Thanks!

If the dongle doesn't turn itself off and it's always active - regardless of whether the gamepad is connected or not - there's not much you can do to disable it.
Is there a firmware update for it which can change the behavior and make it work like the arcade controller's dongle ?

@mitu thanks for the reply, there does not seems to have any firmware update for the tg16 controller yet...

The dongle seems to shutdown (let blink) like the dongle for my Arcade stick. I will try to see if I can see connect/disconnect in the Linux log for both and see if there is a difference.
