      Hello!

I'm new to Retropie and am hoping someone can point me in the right direction to set something up that fulfills my needs. I hope this post is in the right place! I Googled around but couldn't quite find anything. I'm looking for a script that can help me do the following:

      • Automatically start a random game on boot
      • If there's an input press from the controller, start playing the game
      • If idle (5 minutes?), switch to another game

I will be connecting this to a CRT and leaving it running in a quasi-public place for people to pick up and play. I will only be playing Spanish-language ROM hacks of NES, SMS, PCE and MSX games. I have two other CRTs in the space hooked up to Raspberry Pis that autoboot and loop luchador films, Mexican horror movies and telenovelas.

The closest I found is this post on the Attract Mode forum:

However, the author did not post the script and I have been unable to contact them. What I need is substantially less complicated than theirs since I actually don't need an easy way to get back to the interface from the attract mode.

If anyone could point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it!

      Thanks!
