Sorry if this is a stupid question, but if I purchased a PiBoy DMG, can I simply put my SDcard image from my Rpi4 into it and go? Can it be that simple? Or is it not compatible?

      Thanks!

If the PiBoy doesn't need any additional drivers and/or configuration, then it should work. Assuming the PiBoy does support the Pi4 and doesn't have a Pi3/Pi Zero inside.

@mitu Thanks for the reply. Their website does give the option for the Pi4. Just weary of spending the money to get it and have it not work. I would think it's mostly just an interface and as long as it's a Pi4 like you said, it should work the same!

This describes how to install the Pi-Boy DMG safe-shutdown and on-screen-display features to a regular RetroPie image:
