      Hi All,
I have raspberry pi 4, official power supply, 2GB
      Official Sony PS3 controller.
Latest retropie 4.8 downloaded last week

I cannot get it to pair via Bluetooth but it does work with the USB plugged in.

What’s the correct way to do this now? (The documentation says it’s no longer relevant and needs to be updated -hence my question)

I’ve tried 6axis, sonyhid, ps3 controller with official, gasia, etc. But I’m lost.

Are we supposed to use the Bluetooth menu to pair controllers now? Years ago I don’t think I used the Bluetooth menu and it hasn’t worked for me this time.

      Thanks

Which part is marked no longer relevant ?

If you want to use the controller via Bluetooth, you'll have to pair it via the Bluetooth menu - as detailed in the Docs.
