        Looks like the command that's timing out is the systemd service installation. Have you tried installing from the RetroPie-Setup, as a package from the drivers's section ?

          @mitu I followed this guide https://github.com/petrockblog/ControlBlockService2#controlblockservice2
          with the Quick Installation

          and I use the os from the Rasperberry Pi imager "RetroPie 4.9 (RPI 4/400)

          Do you mean via like this? https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Updating-RetroPie/

            Yes, via the RetroPie-Setup script.

                Then I don't know what may cause this - maybe the service tries to contact/connect to the PCB after start and it times out ?
                @petrockblog would know more.

                  Sorry for this delayed reply.

                  What does the ControlBlock installation do, if you you run the ControlBlock installation directly from the command line via

                  wget -O - https://raw.githubusercontent.com/petrockblog/ControlBlockService2/master/install.sh | sudo bash

                  (see https://github.com/petrockblog/ControlBlockService2#quick-installation)

                  Do you observe the same behavior?
                  Can you post the link to the OS image that you are using, so that I can try to replicate the error?
