Whenever i open a retropie config menu, like splashscreens, bluetooth, or audio, it gives me this error and then crashes and takes me back the menu. I cant check my bluetooth devices, add splashscreens, or mess with retroarch because i cant access any of them. I cant upload a photo here for some reason but the error always begins with

      Here is a typical error:

      May 21 02:19:56 lvl0:
VolumeControl::init() - Failed to find mixer elements!
Did not find needed dependencies: git ca-certificates. Trying to install them now.

You're running a very old version of RetroPie/Raspbian, which no longer has updates and it's no longer supported.
The RetroPie-Setup menu needs some new (well, they were new a few years back) dependencies, which your system cannot install anymore. In fact, RetroPie-Setup has probably shown a message when you started it that your system is no longer supported.
