Since I'm having trouble getting Seven Cities of Gold to run in lr-vice (see https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/32747/seven-cities-of-gold-and-lr-vice/12, I ran it in vice x64. Here I don't have problems, everything runs very well, but from the screen in which you are asked to insert the map disk, I have a high-frequency beeping from the loudspeaker (3.5mm jack). In the first screen (title-theme) I don't have the beeping yet. After the map-disk-screen the beeping won't go away.

I restored the default settings, tested a different rom and reinstalled vice as well. Everything doesn't help. ideas?

@10vorne By switching from FastSid to ReSid 6581, the high-frequency beeping in vice x64 is gone.
