      Hi,

      I’ve used a USB stick as an external drive, and have it named as Retropie-mount. The ROMS open and play properly, however my controller doesn’t work with ROMs running from the USB drive. Not even hot keys and the system has to be restarted.

      Very frustrated, everything else works fine except games run from the USB.

      I’m getting a feeling it’s something simple that I’m missing.

        Does this mean that if you don't use the USB for your ROMs the controller is working ?

        Please add more details about your setup, as requested in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.

          Yes that’s correct. It works fine for everything except roms loaded from the usb

            @mitu as @TGUK said "... external drive, and have it named as Retropie-mount" and as the DOC is saying telling us:

            Create a folder called retropie-mount on the USB drive

            Out of curiosity: does the volume label really substitute for the "named" folder?

              @mitu
              I appear to have solved the issue - I changed the emulator to lr-pscx-rearmed and it works fine!

              Thanks for reading
