Find this Github request from last year in regards to dual light gun support for flycast.. Just curious but was it ever completed and updated?

The change you mentioned was added to RetroArch almost 2 years ago, since version 1.9.6. So the answer would be yes.

@mitu sorry to be pain and ask.. I pressume this is an update to the flycast core itself? Can I update via the standard package install menu to just update flycast?

No, it's not an update for the Flycast core - the link you provided is a patch/modification for RetroArch.

@mitu thanks for the info :).. I'll back up my image and give it a try.. Last time I updated retro arch it broke wiimote support completly and it was yourself that kindly showed me how to down grade back 😂
