How to replicate the problem: Fresh install Retropie, drastic roms encounter problems

So I recently did a fresh install of Retropie and updated everything, and I am encountering problems with Drastic I haven’t had before.

The is a black screen when there normally should be the game, and the game runs super fast and the sound sounds awful.
