Power Supply used: USB-C Power Supply, 5.1V 3.0A
      RetroPie Version Used: 4.8 (6e83a7d5)
Built From: Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website
USB Devices connected: 4 controllers Joystick

I do have audio and alsamixer has it set at 100%.
I have tried different setting and video cards but nothing can increase it. System volume is at 100% only with default audio card. Switching it reverts it to 0%

I have a screen converter that’s connected to the “earphone port” that’s the label the seller has. It’s the at the very corner. I have tried using the “audio port” but no sound comes out at all.
That is then connected through HDMI to the pi. All my settings are on HDMI.
      Audio card is default
      Audio device is HDMI
      OMX is alsa
I tried using a script to adjust the audio through a switch. Didn’t work. Although the script for turning the system off and on did.

I no longer know what I can or should test. Tried different configurations to no avail. I would really appreciate if someone could give some guidance.
Just to give an idea of what I mean by low volume, having the AC on drowns out the audio completely. It’s the perfect volume for the middle of the night.

This is all really new to me so please bear with me.
I can SSH onto the system if you need more information.
