I'm interested any links for a download?

Hi, thanks for interesting my project. I've found some bugs and i'm working to resolve it. The iso images will be uploaded soon. I will post it here. stay Tuned!
-
@Devil78 Will I be able to run PS2, GC or Wii emulators on this if I get a NUC with quad core Intel power?
-
There are no dolphin and pcsx2 modules atm. A intel atom based nuc will be too slow for gamecube emulation. A core i based nuc could be fast enough.
-
@gizmo98 I could imagine an i7... Most important I get an purpose built emulation system that's an alternative to Raspberry PI and hence could emulator more modern systems. Will PS2 and GC become RetroArch cores??? Or could we solve it another way?
-
I have not seen a pcsx2 core. There was a dolphin core but i doubt it is working and up to date.
-
I think you can't install Dolphin and PCSX2 with the Retropie tools. But it's not a problem becouse you can install this emulators with the ubuntu software manager. It's simple to add external emulator in Emulation Station. :D
-
Sure. You can install the ubuntu packages but you have to modify es_system.cfg and emulator.cfg as well. Controllers must be configured manual.
-
Ok. There is at least a rough gc module now:

The install location of the module needs fixing (if possible), so you might want to wait till I've looked at that otherwise you may get multiple copies lying around.

You should ask before using our branding if setting up your own site etc (or at least it would be nice to be asked).
logo is under https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/ btw

Sure BuZz, as you can see in the pictures, i'm workng the offline index page. Nothing has been published online. This is only a draft. In addition, the iso images, were never officially / unofficially released. I began to discuss the topic on these pages to avoid such problems. This seems like an honest and transparent attitude towards the rule of retropie staff. The logos below are links to the sites of their respective owners. Obviously, if something were to be at odds with your ideas, it will be sure to stop in a timely manner, any activity you unwelcome. My goal is just to disclose retropie, distributing it bundled with a custom Ubuntu operating system. I apologize, in advance, for any abuses committed in a completely naive and disinterested,
-
sure - it would just be a good idea to check first before doing the new site perhaps. I don't have a problem with the logo being used although in the licence the sentence "You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use." might technically mean using it as a main site logo is not allows although I'm not 100%. I'm not against it anyway - just like to be in the loop.
I am particularly sensitive about this currently as the popularity of the project has meant people are cashing in left right and centre.
-
Hi again, Could you kindly tell me someone to contact for permission to use the name and logo for the operating system and for the website ? Thank you!
-
Technically @petrockblog owns the logo rights.

This is greaaaat :)
A x86 retropie distro will be really handy.
I really would like to see a ps2 emulator on retropie.
Best regards,
-
@CoolCat It means Retropie x86 can be playable in any x86 like Windows 7 and MacOSX or Ubuntu? Where to download it?
-
@tien_huu_1408 It runs on top of Ubuntu only - https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/RetroPie-Ubuntu-16.04-LTS-x86-Flavor

I've been looking for an x86 tiny distro solution complete os, much like it is on RPi and OpenELEC is, my son and I are building a full-sized arcade cabinet and refurbishing another and want to use Linux and not windows on a micro itx mobo for our setup, all powered on and self contained one-button-system with cpo, we would love an image to test in our setup...!
