Why do some images not show up after adding -image to the file?
-
I've run across another folder of games where if I add -image.png to the image file it does not automatically appear on screen. Any idea why? It works just fine for almost all of my other rom folders.
So for example, if I have a rom named:
mario.zip
and I add the following to my image file:
mario-image.jpg
and drop it in the images folder for that console it automatically shows up.
I've made sure there is nothing in the <image></image> tags in the gamelist.xml script and I can't figure out why these images are not showing up when this seems to work fine on all my other consoles.

Is this an arcade system ?

@TPR please give a specific example of one that is failing

@TPR I had the same "problem" a few days ago. Make sure that in the gamelist.xml you have at least the <name></name> metadata entry per game. This solved it for me.

Got it! That's helpful. I'll double check that. Thank you.

@mitu It's happening in my Amiga directory, but I did notice that "arcade" is the other one is happens in also. Any idea why?

Actually I think I just figured it out. For some reason, when I created the /images/ folder in my /amiga/ folder the permissions were set to xxx in Filezilla. I went in and changed it and now it works. I feel like that's a super rookie mistake but I've never seen Filezilla do that before, so... weird... but than you all for your help!

@TPR or permissions indeed :-) ...
