      Hi All,

      I know this topic has been covered several times across the net and I've read them all, I think, , but I still did not reached any definitive conclusion.

      Can we, through the configuration, assign an action (exit, pause, reset, load, save etc) to a specific button or do we only need one button, the hotkey, and then perform those actions by pressing hotkey+button, eg +select or +start?

      I'm planning my control panel and have to decide if I go with just one hotkey buitton that can do admin actions or if I can have dedicated buttons for each action.

      Or both

      Appreciate the help, thank you.

      António

        @pslave said in Admin buttons:

        Or both

        Not both, but you should be able to do either way individually. If you have an "enable hotkey" button (or key or axis) defined, then no hotkey functions will function without that button (or key or axis) being also used at the same time.

        If you have no "enable hotkey" button, key, or axis defined, then all hotkey functions will function as stand-alone buttons that do not require discrete enabling.

          @sleve_mcdichael Understood.

          Thank you for the clarification, I'll plan the panel accordingly :)

            Hi,

            Just to wrap-up this post.

            I've built a prototype (image bellow) and I'm trying to see if everything is correctly positioned and usable. I end up using just a hotkey instead of dedicated admin buttons.

            I'll open a new post to discuss it in the relevant area.

            Thank you.
