Consoles and Emulators for RUMBLE?
-
Hey guys,
Can anyone provide a list of console systems and their emulators that support RUMBLE. Also, if you'd like to share the games that make good use of rumble.....-Douglas

Playstation 1 and Dreamcast games they have rumble/vibration. Maybe there more but i haven't test all systems.

Force Feedback in Joypads was introduced with the Dreamcast (Rumble Pack), Nintendo copied this technology for the N64 (Tremor Pack) and since SONYs Playstations got their Dualshocks PSX-Pads also rumble as well as Microsofts Consoles and Direct-Input-Devices for Windows.
So: Consoles -> DC, N64, PS1 (Retropie/RPi), PS2, PS3, PS4, PS5, XBOX, X360, XBOX1, GameCube, Wii, Switch (in general).
Rumble/Force-Feedback can be supported by emulators, just have a look at the ones you use if they support Rumble-functions or not.

Actually Nintendo 64 was first. Star Fox 64 released in April '97.
Dreamcast wasn't released until 1998 in Japan.

@YFZdude You are right that the N64 was released before the Dreamcast.
But the development of the FF-Function in Input-Devices was initiated by SEGA for the Saturn, but came later with the dreamcast.
Nintendo was the first to bring it to the market after copying the idea (similar to the development of the mouse-controlled interface, which was seen by Bill Gates & Steve Jobs at their neighbour XEROX in Silicon Vally back in the 70s :D)
