Hi all, I've got a bit of a tricky situation here because there are many places where a problem might lie. I'm hoping that someone can at least help me narrow things down a bit.

First off, I'm running RetroPie on an ODROID-XU4 with the Hardkernel Ubuntu minimal (no GUI) OS image.

I have a trackball connected to an Opti-Wiz board that should make the trackball show up as a mouse.

I checked with lsusb and I don't see the Opti-Wiz at all. This leads me to the following possible problems and I'm not sure how to narrow down which one might be the root cause:

      1. The Opti-Wiz (v1.0) may be too old to properly work with Ubuntu
      2. The Ubuntu minimal OS image from Hardkernel may not have mouse drivers included since it does not have a GUI
      3. The Opti-Wiz may not be properly recognized as a mouse

Thanks in advance to anyone that can help me out! I'm hoping that someone can at least validate that the Opti-Wiz should work with RetroPie and I can then just do software troubleshooting. Otherwise I'm open to suggestions for any hardware to get the trackball connected to RetroPie.
