Usb wireless controller issue on retropie
-
Hello retropie community, for christmas this year i got my brother a usb wireless gaming controller by PXN heres the amazon link link text Its a differant style and color scheme but the specs are the same. Its one of the best controllers ever. But theres two glairing issues, the first of which is that when the usb dongle is pluged into my Pi 4 running retropie it seems fine at first until i boot a game. when a game boots the controllers name and player number populates the bottem left of the screen, well when the new controller name poped up, THERE WERE 2, retropie thought there were to controllers when in fact it was just the one! The names were the same and it took up players 1 and 2, meaning only 3 people could play in a 4 player game. At first i was confused and when my brother tried to play a dreamcast game, the secand (ghost players) joy stick always seemed to be pointed up and to the left! at this point i was scared and tried ALL the blueooth options, which takes me to the secand problem, none would work, and i have never had a problem with bluetooth before! all my other bluetooth controllers work fine! The only way to use it was corded, me and my brother are crushed knowing that he cant use it on retropie, which is what i got it for. The entire purpose of having a wireless controller is to use it wirelessly. If anyone could help me and my bro with this and come up with a solution i would be immensly greatfule.
Im running the newest version of retropie on a rasspbery pi 4 off the sd card as well as all the roms.
Ps the joystick problem only occers on games that use the left joy stick.

Please fill out the exact version and the other info asked in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first - what other devices do you have connected, how you installed RetroPie, etc. You can omit the problem/logs part, you've already added that information.
