Hello,
is there a list what N64 run smoothly on the Pi 3 B1.2 with Retropie v4.8 (no overclock)?
Thanks in advance!

@wasddsaw i own two real N64 and an Everdrive.
I tested the performance and authencity Mupen_on_Pi vs. Real Hardware with a Pi3 a couple of years ago.
The result was...none :/
Even the games that run with every emulator since UltraHLE/Nemu back in the 90s, Mario64 and MarioKart64, were absolutely not 1:1 to the real hardware.
In example: Mario64 was 2s forward when the Main-Screen appeared in comparsion to the Mupen-Emulation. And it had little soundhickups which the real hardware (of course) did not have.
So i doubt that there are any N64-Games run superb like the genuine game on a Pi3. (Did not test on a Pi4, maybe it is better there). -
@wasddsaw from personal experience, no game on n64 is 100% smooth on a pi3. There will always be some hiccup or slowdown. Best bets are mario64 and star fox and those seem to be the best running games. But even on a pi4, overclocked, n64 is still not 100% on most games I’ve tried. Just less slowdowns compared to a pi3. The n64 is just a difficult system to emulate and has to do more with bandwidth of the pi then the cpu.

Hello,
thanks for the responses. Then I don't need to bother with N64 emulation on the Pi 3. Are the decompiled ports like Mario 64, Ocarina of time or Perfect dark available on retropie?
