Thought I'd share this, similar form factor to the Pi 4 but with more power. I'm assuming from the off that it won't be as simple as installing RetroPie and it'll work, thought it was "cool" enough to share though:

      (Sorry for the bad pun)

@BadFurDay the pun was very welcome. I wonder what this Cool Pi can do in terms of game emulation. Will smooth PSP And PS2 be achievable or it that a long way off...

There seems no pure Debian support for it.

          But anyway interesting hw

Which SBC has 'pure Debian' support ?

These RK3588S (A76/A55) based SBCs seem to be proliferating at an incredible pace. There are now three (four?) on the market. They seem to be fairly powerful, allowing some access to Gamecube/Wii and PS2 emulation. I imagine they don't have the Pi4's N64 issues either.

This scene would be really interesting if it was possible to put an official build of Retropie on it.

              Currently running:
Retropie 4.8.9 on a Pi Zero 2W (Overclock Settings: CPU 1400Mhz)
              ES-DE on a GMKtec K6 (Windows 11, 32GB RAM)

I think Raspberry Pi is done and its time to move on. I’m looking forward to the software maturing on 3588s before I buy in, if at all that happens. Orange Pi seems to be best $/performance right now.

Is a big no for me to this Raspberry replica without software support, even it is has better specs . Also, the silicon shortage that is affecting many companies, doesn't mean that the Raspberry Pi is over..

Just ordered an Orange Pi 5 the other day from Aliexpress and planning on trying some emulators on it.
Eben said that they wouldn't do a Rpi 5 this year so this would be fun to tinker with while waiting for the next Raspberry.
