Raspberry Pi4 - Retropie - Retroarch : direct access of the cores repository ?
-
Hello,
I installed Retropie 4.8 for Raspberry Pi 4 (1GB) (official power supply) but there is absolutely none cores in Retroarch.
Forcing bets from Retroarch does not work.
I managed to update to Retroarch 1.12.0 via the Retropie update feature but for cores it doesn't work.
Does anyone have a direct link to the cores repository for Retroarch (Retropie version) specific Raspberry Pi 4 hardware ?
The idea is to proceed with a manual installation.
TY !

How are you determining that ?

Once in Retroarch I cannot load any core.
In comparison Retroarch in its pc x64 version, cores can be installed, updated, are visible, roms detected in different formats.
But in the case of Retroarch nothing !
Even by activating the menu [in Retroarch] disabled by default to force the updates of heart there is no loading...
The network access is operational (I could update Retroarch...).
And finally the cores folder is empty.

And finally the cores folder is empty.Oh, yes - that's normal. RetroPie works differently than a standalone RetroArch. Just copy your games into the corresponding systems' folder and then launch them - there's no need to start RetroArch first.
Cores are installed in their separate folders and are automatically loaded when a game is started - you don't have to run RetroArch manually. There's no need to install or update them from RetroArch - you can manage them from RetroPie-Setup.
