Hello everyone. I was trying to figure out a way of listing multiple disc games only once for each console. I read that using .m3u files permitted this option, so I made an attempt at it. I was able to get the Dreamcast games (Resident Evil 2, Shenmue, and D2) to launch without any issues. I created a 3DO+ folder (inside the roms folder) for 3do games containing multiple discs.

Inside the 3do folder, I would add the single disc games, along with the .m3u files. D.m3u pointed to /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/3DO+/D (Disc 1).chd. and /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/3DO+/D (Disc 2).chd. The Daedalus Encounter.m3u pointed to /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/3DO+/The Daedalus Encounter (Disc 1).chd, /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/3DO+/The Daedalus Encounter (Disc 2).chd, /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/3DO+/The Daedalus Encounter (Disc 3).chd, and /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/3DO+/The Daedalus Encounter (Disc 4).chd. After restarting Emulationstation, D and The Daedalus Encounter were only listed one time in the 3do game list. The only problem was that after clicking on each of them, lr-opera seemed to have trouble loading them properly, as it only led me back to the game list screen a few seconds later. I have also looked up the runcomand log so I could upload it here. I am still stumped as to what I did wrong. If anyone can provide some answers, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Here is the link to my runcommand log:

      Thanks for the input. :-)

        I don't think lr-opera supports M3U.

        https://docs.libretro.com/library/opera/#extensions

Does not list M3U on either page. By contrast, PSX does on both:

@sleve_mcdichael I was able to see that in the documentation you provided a link to. Would preparing a single .zip file with all of the .chd files for each game work?

No, .zip files are not supported by the core and it wouldn't work. Since 3DO always restarted when switching discs, just keep the each disc separately and restart with the right disc when needed (i.e. when the game asks for a 2nd disc).
