Retropie high resolution
-
Is there any way to adjust the retropie settings for a UHD TV 50"? Having the ROMs playing to such a resolution, seems with big pixels.

@ililil most games that run on retropie are 240p or lower so there is no best way to stretch that to a 4K screen. there is a few things you can do. You can add filters to help smooth things out. The most basic is a bilinear filter that be turned on in the retroarch menu. It just kind of blurs the pixels so they blend together. Other options is using shaders. There are several like HQ2x and others that instead of blurring the pixels, tries to recreate the gaps between pixels to give smooth edges. Try them out and see what you like. I

@ililil It's a personal preference, but I use the crt-pi or z-fast shader. You can edit the shaders to your liking too.
