      Thanks in advance, as I'm a noob to this, building my first arcade cabinet. I had everything working correctly in a test, but when I installed into my cabinet that I built, having some issues.

      I went through emulation station and removed all controllers, then added my player one (1 joystick & 9 buttons) and player two (1 joystick & 9 buttons).

      They work fine in the menus, but when I start a game, the "second" joystick and buttons are the ones that act as player 1.

      I'm using a powered USB hub, and when I switched the USB cables, it actually solved the issue.

      But trying to figure out why that solved it and what I was doing wrong?

        @FiberArch if you’re using a pi, retropie gives retroarch each usb port a priority. If using a hub, just trying different configs is the only way to find out what the priority on the hub, as you have just found out.

          @lostless - Thanks!

          Didn't realize that each USB port would have a priority, I thought it was assigned from Emulation Station. Moved the USB cords around, and now I'm back up and running.
