Some emulators doesn't work after changes
-
Hello there,
I have retropie installed and working on this machine:
Hardware: PC desktop (4gb ram, CPU G2030, Intel Graphics 2500)
RetroPie Version: 4.8 - x86 - on ubuntu 20.04.4
USB Devices connected: 1 joypad, mouse, and keyboardI had some issues with lr-pcsx-rearmed bios file. I solved them applying the solution suggested in this post:
https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/29004/lr-pcsx-rearmed-not-detecting-bios
After that, I made some changes to the video settings, in Retroarch menu, in order to get less pixelated PS1 graphics.
Now the PS1 emulator works fine, however, all other emulators stopped working
Can anyone give me some hints about how to solve the issues?
Thank you all!

I tried to update retropie and I got the following message:
"error running 'git submodule update --init --recursive' - returned 1

trying to solve myself...I cannot open RetroArch from ES menu, so if I launch it from terminal I got the following error:
:~$ /opt/retropie/emulators/retroarch/bin/retroarch --verbose --menu --config /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg

Restore the
/opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg
from the default one (/opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg.rp-dist
) and try again. -
@mitu thanks...it worked!
When I launch a PS1 game I get a message on bottom left corner about "override". How I can disable it?
I suppose this option messes up the onfigurations file for other emulators. Could it be the case?

You go into the overrides menu and delete the override.

If you saved the override just for that system, it will not affect the other systems/cores. You may have changed a global option (like the video driver) and saved the configuration.
