How do i setup drastic emulator on keyboard and mouse

I have setup the retropie on my rasberie pie 3b. I tried using desmune emulator to run my nintendo ds games, however the frame rate was around 6 ~ 12 fps. I then tried the drastic emulator but the controls i have setup are not working ingame. The only buttons that work are the select button and my mouse. When i press the esc key (my hotekey bind) it exits the game. Any solution to the problem?

Press the M key to open up the drastic menu and configure your keyboard.
