      Raspberry pi model: 0 2w
      Retropie version: 4.8
Power supply: Cana kit model DCAR-052A5
      Gamepad: a blue Logitech precision

Other Atari 2600 games work fine. However, I can boot Yar’s revenge, but when I press reset button or fire button, the game does not start therefore I am unable to play and enjoy. It does not enter the play state. What can I do to solve this? Thank you in advance.

Looks like a bad ROM file. If other games work fine, the emulator is correctly configured and it should work for Yars' Revenge also. What emulator are you using ?

Yes, I will try changing the ROM file. I am using lr-stella2014 as the emulator.

EDIT: I figured it out. On the retroarch menu settings the controller was set to stella adaptor paddle controller. I set it to gamepad and it works now! I remember one day I was trying to use a pc mouse as a paddle, and I must have changed controller setting to paddle and kept it by accident. Sorry about that! Thank you!
