I'd really like to be able to use some cheats for ZX Spectrum games, which are enacted by directly altering RAM in the format POKE [address], [value] with decimal values, eg POKE 32763,25.

I see that lr-fuse doesn't have support for Retroarch cheats, and doesn't appear to have its own POKE function. (It really is the most bizarrely neglected emulator considering the Spectrum was the biggest 8-bit machine in the UK.)

It's also not possible to enter POKEs in a better-functioned Windows emulator and save snapshots for lr-fuse, because most later Speccy games were tape multiloads and snapshots don't support multiload.

      Is there a solution?

Raspberry Pi 3b and 8GB Raspberry Pi 4, both running Retropie 4.7.1 installed from scratch using Raspberry Pi Imager, with wired keyboard, wireless mouse and double arcade joystick attached.
