mkxp and openrgss are open source RPG Maker XP/VX/Ace interpreters similarly like that of easyrpg-player with RPG Maker 2k/2k3

mkxp is pure C++ if I'm not mistaken, and is actually used to port games to Linux and Mac (To the Moon, for example)

OpenRGSS is written in ruby. and installed as a gem. dunno how to use it tho </3
