Everytime I attempt to quit a meme2003 game with my retropie 4.8 raspberry pi4 it shows a palette screen with a bunch of colors and screen will freeze and forced to do a manual restart. This is a link to my Reddit post with imagine of the issue. https://www.reddit.com/r/RetroPie/comments/153hvu8/palette_screen_freezes_system/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=2&utm_term=1

Do I need to delete the config file? If so where is this located for mame2003?

Please add the info requested in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first to your topic. You may also add the image from your other (Reddit) post, you didn't add any links (?) to your actual post.

Does this happen for all arcade/Mame2003 games or just for some games ? Do you have any additional runcommand scripts that are running before/after the emulators ?

@mitu oops sorry I have updated the post to include the link. This has happened recently with 1943: Battle of Midway. I think I may have messed with the quick settings and mapped something out incorrectly perhaps? No scrips that I can see.

@PhatRam32 you need to delete the
default.cfg in your mame2003/cfg directory. This is located where you launch your roms from
