      Retropie 4.8

Hi, I need some help with the core locking feauture within retroarch using Retropie with Retroarch 1.15.0.

If I goto settings/core/manage cores I am able to backup a core or restore a core but the lock core feature is not working correctly when I choose to enable this feature it reports failed to lock core. I am thinking it might a permission issue or limitation?

Anybody here able to test this or provide any solutions? I have recently posted in the libretro discord support but not had a response yet.

      Thanks
      Robo

RetroPie doesn't install the cores where RetroArch expects them to be, so I'm not surprised this features doesn't work.
If you want to back-up a core, then back-up the core folder from /opt/retropie/libretrocores.

@raspretro314 this feature is meant for retroarch's online updater, which is not what is used when updating cores on retropie.
