      Hey there,

      Retropie-Version: 4.8
      Controller: Dragonrise Inc

      I want to remap the N64-Controller settings in Retroarch. I set everything up as I figured out which buttons are which. After that my Joysticks doesn't work anymore in game. In Mario Kart 64 in the menu they work, but when entering the race they won't. The funny thing is that I don't touch any of the D-Pad Buttons at all, because they were mapped correctly. Does someone have an idea?
      I changed both port 1 & 2 accordingly and then saved the core remap file.

        @Manukan I figured it out, I changed the settings from "D-Pad - Up/Down/Left/Right" to "Control Stick -Y+Y-X+X"
        I don't know why it was changed because beforehand the games works fine with the "D-Pad" buttons assigned to it.

          @Manukan depends how your controller is mapped in Emulationstation maybe? If you've got the d pad and analog controls mixed up there? It'll mix them up in Retroarch.

          Anyway glad you got it working, very few n64 games use dpad anyway so just map it to analog stick
