Controls messed up after loading Dreamcast game.

I'm new to retropie stuff overall and I'm also visually impaired so this issue is a bit of a problem. I bought a setup online that runs 3b+ I think and got a preloaded sd card to get rolling. Everything was working fine as I played other systems on the card until I loaded a Dreamcast game. Now when I load other systems the controls are messed up. The hotkey button doesn't work select brings up the retroarch menu for some reason my right trigger is start and the left is select. I'm using an Xbox pad btw and I've reset the controls twice already... Is there another way to reset controls so they work again?

We don't support 3rd party images, especially the ones sold with ROMs.
Ask the vendor for support or use the image we provide. If you still have issues starting with the image from https://retropie.org.uk/download then you can ask again here and we can help you. -
