      Hi,
what is the best approach to get latest RetroPie and latest KODI on one disk?
Is it batter to install KODI (lets say LibreELEC) and then run Emulation Station from it or the other way, install RetroPie and then run KODI from it?
Im asking because the last time I installed RetroPie, the repo that is contained originally with RetroPie for installing KODI did not had the latest version of KODI and update was not possible.

      Thanks!

@skullmonkey if you want the latest Kodi. Then using Retropie is not going to work.

I think someone might of gotten a newer version to work. But they needed to install a full OS and then Retropie over that. And then build Kodi on their own.

But I could be mistaken on that

So if you want the latest version of Kodi. You are better off using something else like you said.

        RPi3B+ / 200GB/ RetroPie v4.5.14, RPi4 Model B 4gb / 256gb / RetroPie 4.8.2
        RPi5 4gb / 512gb / RetroPie 4.8.9 -Basic
        Maintainer of RetroPie-Extra .

@skullmonkey While it is not the latest version 20.x you can get 19.x (currently 19.5) like mentioned here:
