I have a PS4 controller connected to my Raspberry PI 4 Model B via USB. I have the latest RetroPie version installed. I have several NES games installed on the emulator. I can access the RetroPie menu and game menus with no problem, however, I can not start the games. When I select "start game" by pressing the "A" button assigned on my controller or any button for that matter nothing happens. Any idea how to resolve this issue?

Which button - on the PS4 controller- did you configure when asked to press the A button in the input configuration screen ?
