ZEsarUX not working with arrow keys on Raspberry Pi 400

I really don't want to open a separate thread about this, but I have to.
Long story short, I did update the RetroPie ting and I did install ZEsarUX because I think it's better than Fuse, but somehow...the Spectrum stuff it's emulating is not responding to input of arrow keys, but on the ZEsarUX menus, the arrow keys work fine.
So how do I fix it? Using a Raspberry Pi 400 btw.
