Quick menu access in fbneo
-
I've been using lr_mame2003, and would like to switch most games to fbneo. The game remapping files from mame don't apply, so I have to map them again in fbneo.
After accessing the quick menu with select-X, I tried to remap one button in one game. I'm (almost) certain that I saved the game remap file, not the core remap file. Now I can't seem to get to the quick menu any more. I tried a bunch of button combinations. And when I press the player 2 button, which is both the left shoulder and the hot key, the system locks up entirely. The only option seems to be power cycling.
How can I restore access to the quick menu? And secondly, I really liked the button config utility in Mame. Is there any more intuitive way to map the buttons in fbneo than the retroarch menu?
- Raspberry Pi 4 1GB
- Official Raspberry Pi 4 Power Supply (USB-C) - White
- Retropie 4.8, complete install using imager 1.8.4.
- USB PacDrive LED driver
- USB UltraStik 360 joystick with buttons connected in input mode
- USB TurboTwist 2 for spinner and trackball
- Emulator - lr-fbneo
Here is a paste of retroarch.cfg, and of retroarch-core-options.cfg with the comments removed.

.Thank you! Would that be the line "input_player1_select = "rshift"" in /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg? That seemed to do the trick.

No.
Bummer.
