After various attempts on different platforms, I come to the conclusion that retro gaming is quite disappointing. Even with a Raspberry Pi 3 or 4, only systems over 30 years old can be adequately emulated, and the results are still underwhelming. For instance, Mario Kart SNES might seem smooth initially, but when there's action on the screen, it slows down, albeit slightly, negatively impacting the gaming experience. Forget about N64, Gamecube, and Wii – they're beyond the capabilities of the Raspberry Pi.

In contrast, my Intel i7 16GB PC, which cost over 1000€, can flawlessly emulate Gamecube, but the Wii emulation falls short of expectations. In essence, I'm quite disappointed. I understand that games are not optimized for the Raspberry Pi, requiring OpenGL and other considerations. It seems that many take pride in tinkering with their RPIs, installing and running retro games, but how many actually play them?

I never had issues with snes games with Rpi3 or Rpi4. I always had 60fps with the default settings and resolution 720p. N64 is another story, even with RPi5, emulation have issues with some games.

My English isn't at a good level.
