Here is a general list of game ports that I would like to see added to the official RetroPie repository:

      1. Super Smash Flash
      2. Super Smash Flash 2
      3. New Super Mario Bros Versus/Mario vs Luigi
      4. SM64EX-Coop
      5. SM64EX-Coop Deluxe
      6. Pokémon Infinite Fusion (I seriously hope this is the right link..)
7+. Really any type of Multiplayer Versus game based off of its retro version.

Edit: Links and removing PvZ and PvZ2 because I was being unintellectual. Just grab the DS version...

The main ports I would personally desire the most include but is far from limited to:
      Super Smash Flash 2,
      NSMB Versus,
      SM64EX-Coop Deluxe,
      and Pokémon Infinite Fusion.

I would appreciate if anyone could link towards a git page with one of these ports. I apologize if this post is in the wrong section.

Edit: Oh, and Xbox Cloud Gaming. Yeah, that one.

        @AwesomeKingClem nice list,

but unless a PR is opened on the RetroPie github with the scripts made and working. its going to be a long shot to have it added.

The devs have their hands full with getting RetroPie working with bookworm and the Pi5.

the best thing would be someone to make the scripts and have them added to the RetroPie-Extras. so that way they can get tested and proven to be working well before a PR is opened on the RetroPie github

also if you can provide links to where you found these so people can look at getting them working on the Pi would be helpful.

        RPi3B+ / 200GB/ RetroPie v4.5.14, RPi4 Model B 4gb / 256gb / RetroPie 4.8.2
        RPi5 4gb / 512gb / RetroPie 4.8.9 -Basic
        Maintainer of RetroPie-Extra .

It's not only that, but RetroPie cannot add every possible game under the sun - they're thousands of games which can be 'ported'/run on Linux (on a Pi or not).

But it's very easy to add your own ports - just create a .sh file in the roms/ports folder and put the command to start the game in the file - that's it. Sure, you have to download/install the game first, but that should be just as easy.

@ExarKunIv Sure, I could edit my post with the links to each of the games. I may try to see if I can make a port myself without the .sh that runs an external application that @mitu mentioned, but that's for a later time.

@AwesomeKingClem said in Game Ports to add to the Official Repository:

Pokémon Infinite Fusion (Discord Link because I can't find the official website.)

If there's no official site, then no link please (see the forum rules w.r.t. ROMs and copyrighted material).

I don't see how Discord is copyright, but ok then I guess. Lemme try to find the official website to link.

Doesn't seem to work anymore, I can't find gnash as an installable package in current Debian repositories, nor on RaspiOS repos.

For for these Flash games, they seem to load in a browser using ruffle without needing anything else installed. Did you try loading them this way on your Pi ?
