      Hi there,

      Very new to the process be gentle please! I have used this all week to help me setup my first project.

      Raspberry Pi Model4b 8gb running Retropie using a Pistation PS1 case and power supply.

      I have everything setup the way I want and am currently reading through forums about completing a WIN32 imager file so I can save my configs etc. However for ROMs (my main console was PS1) I have put in a 512gb SanDisk thumb drive. I've used the Retropie-mount config so everything runs off this.
      My question was, if I make a clone of the image from SD card, even though I am not plugging in my USB stick does that still make a clone of configs?
      Not too fussed about ROMS as I can always copy and paste the 'old fashioned way' to have my ROMS saved somewhere else. It's more all the hard work of setup,safe shutdown, Bluetooth, aspect ratios and all those other little adaptations I've made.

      Sorry in advance if this is somewhere else and thanks for reading!

        @tp3107
        All configuration files are stay in the sd-card.
        You can use your usb stick even with a different Pi model or a different RetroPie version.

        `Please be patient, my English is not very good.`

          @abj OK great, thanks for the reply! That was what I suspected but helpful to have confirmation.
