It says it can't reach the github, however it's not down and my internet connection works fine. So... any idea of whats going on ?

Github is unreliable sometimes and you'll get cloning errors. It didn't used to have so many errors, but I've noticed the same kind of issues for the past 2 weeks are getting more frequent. The only solution is to try again later to clone the repo.
But in your case, installation from binary should be the same - 2010 and 2015 are not updated so frequently to warrant an installation from source each time.

@mitu yep, binary also doesn't work

it's odd tho, i can easily manually download the archive from my laptop but the raspberry can't ?

i'll try again later today and see if it works better

@MrMasch said in Mame 2016 and 2015 cores failures:

@mitu yep, binary also doesn't work

What's the error ? The binaries are not hosted on Github, so it shouldn't be the same error.
