A Pi 5 Question

less than a minute ago
I was looking to finally get a Raspberry Pi 5, since they seem to be widely available now. My question is, even though the full retropie pie support for it isn't fully "baked" yet, can I still go through the normal process of installing it and using it, on a Pi 5, like I normally do a Pi 4?
Or would there be some manual tinkering, that I would have to do, to get something to work? I'm pretty bare bones, I just use a Hori controller that works fine for Pi 4, keyboard and the wireless to get updates.
I am in no rush to mess with new emulators that will now work on 5, where they didn't or were slow, on 4.
Thanks for any reply.

@mat yes you have to install it all manually
but there are good guides out there that go step by step to get you up and going

most emulators are working fine, but there are a few that still need some work on the backend i believe. i could be wrong on that

@ExarKunIv That's what I figured. Thank you for the reply & link.
