Hotkey Doesn't Work with Bluetooth

I have a Pi 4 setup with 2 XBox Series Controllers connected through a USB dongle. And it works fine. I added an 8bitdo Zero 2 controller attached through bluetooth. The 8bitdo controller has the select button set for hotkey use. If the 8bitdo controller is on none of the hotkeys work, and will not work until I return to EmulationStation, and turn off the 8bitdo controller. Any help?

@steved I don't have experience with this controller, but I had a similar behavior in mine if I set it to D-input instead of x-input. So, try changing to x-input if you haven't and reconfigure the controller

Hotkeys work only on the controller that's player 1 (P1), if your Bluetooth controllers is the 1st one detected - hence P1 - then the subsequent/other controllers will be P2/P3 and their hotkey enable button is disabled.
