Possible Resolution and or VNC issue.

Hello all, I am very new to Raspberry pie. I just did everything to get retropie onto a pi 5 and everything went smooth until I had the emulator open from boot and then I got this extremely fuzzy black and white screen. So, I am unsure if it is a resolution problem or more than that, since I cannot use VNC anymore either. The image included is just a cropped down version, the image appears to be repeated about 3 times in my screen. Hopefully you guys understand what I am saying and understand how to help. Thank you.
